Pretendy funtimes in carnival land!
Submitted by Jack (severedscythe) on Fri, 2009-05-22 06:19Who: Jack and Esme
Where: middle of town
When: morning
Jack had never trusted carnivals. He’d gone to one as a kid with his father, before everything went to shit. It had freaked him out then and it freaked him out now, as he wandered amongst the rides, starting in surprise whenever one of them went off when he got too close. He’d thought that maybe people might have been there. He’d been –hoping- that people might’ve been there. Someone that he could get to take him home.

Passing On Information PM to Stan, Jack and Brianna
Submitted by kaori (granny weatherwax) on Sun, 2009-05-03 20:16After gathering some names and numbers, here is what I've been able to gather due to the help of others I can speak with and they can. Addison has put together a fairly coherent listing and way of listing things, so if you would like to continue this and copy it to others, go ahead, if you have your own methods, feel free. Please add in information that you have for me, and I will pass on anything you have added to the others I'm speaking with.
(Glitch) Pirate Corliss the Dagger: (unknown)

Submitted by Jack (severedscythe) on Fri, 2009-04-24 02:36Hi.
I'm not sure how this is going to work, and I'm not sure who's out there, but hi. I'm Jack. I'm guessing this is just those scientist guys fucking with us because this? This is not normal. Is there anyone there? I've gone around to each computer and written basically the same message. Well, every one but the centre one because hey, there's no message system on there. Bastards.
Anybody out there?

on the way to the haunted house
Submitted by cheyenne (granny weatherwax) on Fri, 2009-04-17 11:44who: cheyenne and jack
where: the streets
when: noonish
Cheyenne had left a note for Veronica at the house, that was short and sweet. It read:
'Ronnie! Went to check on Glitch, talk to you soon!
kisses! ♥ cheyenne'
She didn't want to run out on the girl when she'd just got in, and she knew they needed to talk too, but she'd seen Ronnie, seen she was all whole, in one piece and everything, and she needed to go check Glitch out to be sure of the same. Which meant she had on her sunglasses again, she was all bundled up nice...with the big black umbrella. She looked like a very silly vampire. Or something. She didn't know. But she couldn't help it. She was also determined to try and get to the house without bailing, or trying to duck into the nearest car. Which...was proving difficult, really. And in fact, as she walked along, she needed to take a second to huddle in a empty house's porch, needing the little roof over her head, and she stood there shivering for a long moment, counting to ten, trying to tell herself it was fine, the big bad wide open world was just the same as it had always bloody well been, it wasn't any different, and couldn't hurt her.
That was just easier to say than accept in a state where one wanted to hyperventilate.

Dreaming of a white... October?
Submitted by Jillian (ruby kavalier) on Sun, 2009-04-05 21:22Who: Jillian, open to Shane and Jack
When: 8 am
Where 2 Short Street
Normally, Christmas music wouldn't be something that would make Jillian wake up screaming. After her time in the experiment, however, sudden loud noises jolting her out of sleep were an entirely different story, and it took her a few confused seconds to realize it was music instead of a siren going off every hour on the hour. She dropped back into bed, fighting to calm down and keep her heart from bursting out of her chest. After a second, she got up to see if there was some way to turn off the music, because eight o'clock in the morning was much too early to be awake. It was about that time that she noticed the brightly wrapped boxes in her room, one of them with... holes in it? Unwrapping the box nearest the door, Jillian found a bunch of dog toys and care items. That was random... until she opened the second box, containing the most adorable puppy she'd ever seen in her life. Picking up the furry little thing and giving it a good cuddle, she opened her bedroom door and stepped into the hallway, wondering if anyone else was up.

Submitted by Jack (severedscythe) on Sat, 2009-03-28 10:46So. Did anyone else get freaky boxes filled with crap or was it just us? This is like those fucking masks all over again. As if that wasn't bad enough.
Bethany, I'm gunna try to get out to you today. Heads up.

house of shane
Submitted by Shane (granny weatherwax) on Sat, 2009-03-07 10:26who: everyone at shane's house(jillian, jack & penny)
where: shane's house
when: morning
Shane, being that he lived there, was unaware anything was weird. Well...maybe that Jillian wasn't in bed with him, but she could have gotten up earlier than he had. Getting up and going to the bathroom that adjoined his room, he showered, then changed, heading downstairs to drop onto the sofa in the living room, turning video games on. Nothing like starting the day killing zombies. Or, that was his theory and he was sticking the fuck to it. It was that or really think about things, which he'd been steadfastly avoiding doing. Like the scratch on his cheek from that crazy girl. Or the fact that he'd pulled the trigger of his gun.
Sure, it hadn't gone off, but that was hardly the point, was it? The fact was it should have. Which meant he had the balls to pull the trigger on someone--something he had not known before? And really rather wished he didn't now, either. Thus--massive avoidance. And video games. Very much video games.
